Healthy Toasts

For all the toasts I have used Nachni Sliced Bread here, you can use any bread of your choice.
Simply toast your bread and top with any of the following combinations ….

 

Cream Cheese & Salmon Toast
• Smoked Norwegian Salmon
• Cream Cheese
• Capers
• Dill
Slather some cream cheese on the toast. Top with the Salmon, and garnish with carpers and dill.

Sliced Avocado Toast
• 1 ripe avocado Sliced
• Maldon Sea Salt
• Pepper
This one doesn’t get any easier. Simply slice the perfectly ripe avocado, sprinkle with some good quality sea salyt and some freshly crushed pepper.

Cucumber Ribbons & Avocado Mash on Toast
• Lebanese Cucumber sliced
• ½ avocado mashed
• Spicy sesame seed mix
Mash the avocado with some saly and pepper. Spread on the toast. Top with cucumber slices and sprinkle with some spicy Japanese seasame seed mix. Alternately just toss some white and black sesame seeds and cayenne pepper, salt and tiny bit of sugar. Sprinkle over the toast and serve with some lime.

Portebello Mushroom & Mozzarella Toast
• Portebello Mushrooms, washed and stems removed
• Mozzarella
• Fresh Oregano
Slice the Mushrooms or leave them whole, its up to you. Pan fry in olive oil with salt & pepper. Place a chunky slice of Mozzarella on the toast, top with the mushrooms , top with a little grated mozzarella and place under the grill till the cheese begins to melt. Remove, top with fresh Oregano and serve.

Oven Roasted Cherry Tomatoes & Bocconcini on Toast
• Cherry tomatoes
• Salt
• Pepper
• Olive Oil
• Boccconcini
• Chilli flakes
Toss the cherry tomatoes in some olive oil , salt and pepper. Place on greaseproof paper and bake for 15 mins at 220C in a pre heated oven. Toss the Bocconcini with some olive oil, salt pepper, herbs and if you get any juice from the roasting tomatoes. Toss all together and place on your toast over some lettuce.

Hummus & Zatar Toast
• Hummus
• Zatar
• Pinenuts
• Flatleaf Parsley
Spread some hummus on the toast, sprinkle some Zatar over it and drizzle some extra virgin olive oil on top Garnish with pinenuts and flatleaf parsley.
